Wed March 29 Make-up assignment for absentees: Using mainly the phrases on the back of our vocab list, create two different conversations--one in which your extend an invitation to someone to do something with you and they accept; and the second in which you extend an invitation in a different way and they decline.
At least 3 different phrases/expressions from the back of our list must be used in each. Here's an English example:
Ex 1: Hey, Sam. Are you able to play tennis with me this weekend?
Great! I would like to. At what time?
Ex 2: Ana, do you want to go to the dance with me on Saturday?
Oh no. I'm sorry. I have to work on Saturday.

Wed May 3 We used the family vocabulary in speaking practices. Then, we went over and practiced in more detail the forms of tener and possessive adjectives at the bottom of the page. I gave examples of how they might be presented on the semester exam, along with the question for "how old are you" which will be on the exam and sample answers. Check with a classmate if you need this information.
Friday May 5 Emma, I gave the semester exam info sheet to the rest of the class, and after talking about that a bit we finished Cinderella with Spanish subtitles.
